The Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Railway Transport (AŽP) has the status of a public agency and is a legal person governed by public law. It was established on 28 June 2003 on the basis of the provisions of the Railway Transport Act and the Decision of establishing the Public Agency for Railway Transport.
