The Register of Train Drivers is kept by the safety authority (AŽP) on the basis of Article 72 of the Railway Transport Safety Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia [Uradni list RS], No 30/18 and 54/21). The register is not publicly available, but drivers may be given access to the information in the register of train driving licences on request. The information shall be provided either by issuing an extract from the register or by consulting the register.

The application for access to the data can be sent by post or delivered in person to the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Railway Transport–Javna agencija za železniški promet Republike Slovenije, Kopitarjeva ulica 5, 2000 Maribor–or sent by e-mail to gp.azp@azp.si.
